You Don’t Choose your in-laws…

A young man meets his girlfriend's family for the first time.

John is looking to propose to his long-term girlfriend Lisa, but before doing so, he needs to get the approval of her older, conservative parents. However, when he arrives at their house for the first time, he finds out that Lisa’s father, Javier, happens to be tied to a tree and he’s been there for years on end. Surrounding the tree are the bloody clothing of previous men Lisa brought home for the first time.

In order to get the family’s approval, John has to answer any and all questions that Javier may have as honestly as possible or else...

Larry & ME

A Short film about Best Friends!

Friendships that last a life time are rare; life-long friendships between men, even rarer.  Larry King and Herb Cohen are an exception to the rule -- Their friendship lasted over 75 years.

In the late 1940s, Herb, Larry, and their crew - The Warriors - hung out, played ball, caused trouble and, most of all, had fun making memories in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. Larry Zeiger, who surpassed his dream of becoming a “radio announcer” and Herbie Cohen, who “wanted to be a lawyer” and became the best-selling author of “You Can Negotiate Anything,” remained friends throughout their adult lives.

Herb takes us on a trip down memory lane including visits to their childhood homes in Bensonhurst, the Jewish Community House, and their corner hangout. An ode to enduring male friendship, this film slyly celebrates growing up in a bygone era, getting older and what it means to lose a best friend.
